Maribel is a native of Virginia in the United States and was raised there with her family. Details about the siblings are scarce. She was extremely determined at a very young age to have a legal career. After graduating from high-school in the year 1819, she attended the University of Virginia, where she graduated with an emphasis in German and foreign Policy. Thomas Jefferson, who was one of Declaration of Independence's authors, established the University of Virginia in 1819.
