Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th 1962) is an American actress from America. After her 1983 debut film Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat group with actors. She was in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) and WarGames. Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Sheedy is an American writer and actress. Her career in film began in the the early 1980s, when she appeared in the crime drama film, Bad Boys. In the film, which was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown as well as Alan Ruck also appeared. In 1985, following her success on screen that she appeared in, the actress acted as a character in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. John Hughes' film is considered to be one of the top high school film of all-time. Although the film's budget was only $1 million, it made more than $50 million in profits. Also, she began to appear on a number of television programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. In April of 1980, the show started airing. The show was designed for young people. Also, she appeared on various television shows like Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. Some of her latest appearances are in Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse which is a movie about a superhero that she appears in as a cameo. Sheedy, for her incredible appearances, was awarded numerous prizes. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
