Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actress known for her roles as lead actress in a variety of television shows and for her enthralling performances in movies. The actress is popular on Canadian and American Television. Emily's love for acting first began at the age of 12 when, she went to visit their sister Katie who was shooting one of Katie's movies. As Emily discovered her passion for acting, she began training in acting classes and went to auditions. She started out with a couple of ads, and was soon included in the show Are You Afraid Of The Dark the Canadian horror film for children. It was the only scene that she didn't speak. She got her first big break at 15, when she got a role as a regular on Glory Days, a WB show Glory Days. Emily's acting attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti, despite the fact that the show ended after just nine episodes. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular character on Everwood. Also a ballet dancer and a photographer Emily was featured by Teen to be one of their top actresses who are under twenty. Maxim placed her at number 51 in its Hot 100 of 2014.
